We are seeking a commercially aware Hotel Contracts Manager to join our Commercial team to manage bed buying and hotelier/accommodation provider relationships for an industry-leading travel company.

Key Responsibilities

This Hotel Contracts Manager role includes varied tasks such as:

  • Supplier Onboarding: Own the onboarding journey for new hotel partners, from sourcing to activation on our platform, Phenix.
  • Supplier Negotiation: Negotiate with hotel partners and regularly monitor to ensure Travel Counsellors have the best rates.
  • Supplier Relations: Maintain and sustain long-term mutually beneficial relationships and address and resolve any standard/service-level issues with suppliers.
  • Quality Control: Undertake an ongoing analysis of products and quality to maintain a consistent product offering for clients, closely monitor room production, and work with all the relevant parties to stimulate the growth of bookings, room nights, and revenue.
  • Product Sourcing: Identify new products in line with room nights and sales requirements, including suitable hotels to fall into our preferred "castle" collection based on production and opportunity to secure exclusive added value.
  • Industry Knowledge: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the technology available in the market to support hotel contracting and an understanding of internal systems and processes in order to contract more efficiently and effectively.

Essential Skills
  • A good understanding of the travel industry, ideally with previous experience in hotel contracting
