This is an opportunity for an ambitious Accounts Semi Senior to join our Professional Services team. The candidate will work with a diverse range of clients, providing quality accounting and financial services.

Description
- Preparing management accounts, including reconciling all key account balances and tailoring the presentation specific to each client
- Assisting and advising clients on issues in their accounting systems, including software migration
- Agreeing and executing payment runs on clients' behalf using a variety of online banking platforms
- Preparing VAT and Intrastat returns
- Preparation of year-end financial statements and simple corporation tax computations
- Training of junior members of the team
- Carrying out and reviewing ad hoc tasks such as cash flows, budgets and information for third parties
- Maintaining relationships with clients and taking ownership of projects and tasks as appropriate
- Processing work on Xero, and other accounting software
- Monitoring budgets and reporting to managers
Profile
A successful 'Accounts Semi Senior' should have:
- Professional qualification in accounting or finance. AAT, ACA/ACCA
- Proven knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Experience in using accounting software and systems.
- Proficiency in preparing financial statements and reports.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and meet deadlines.
Job Offer
- An estimated salary range of £27,000 to £33,000 per year DOE
- A standard working week of 35 hours with hybrid working options
