Accounts Senior - Role OverviewAs an experienced Compliance Accounting Senior, this role offers a pathway to managerial responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be adept at building trusted relationships, delivering accurate compliance services, and supporting junior team members. Experience in service charge accounts production is advantageous. Accounts Senior - Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive compliance accounting services. - Build and maintain trusted client relationships. - Identify and promote additional services to clients. - Support marketing activities, including pitches and campaigns. - Manage daily workflow, including planning, allocation, and review. - Oversee service charge accounts production. - Train team members in processes and technical matters. - Adopt a hands-on approach to support the team. - Identify and mitigate risks. - Improve processes through best practice implementation. - Ensure all performance, industry, and compliance standards are met. Accounts Senior - Required Skills & Experience- ACCA/ACA or similar with a minimum of 2 years PQE. - Experience as an Accounts Senior in a practice environment. - Proficiency in accounts preparation and general practice. - Desirable: Experience in client year-end meetings and service charge accounts production. - IT proficient, especially with "Xero" and other industry software like "Fathom." - Effective time management, organisation, and communication skills. - Experience in delivering training to junior colleagues.
