Hays are looking for an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to join an exciting financial services business based out of Manchester City Centre. This is a 12-month fixed-term role covering maternity leave with the possibility to be made permanent after completion.
You will be responsible for supporting the Management Accountant and;
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts; accruals, pre-payments and journals.
- Bank/ statement reconciliations
- Provide support to the finance team
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Analyse financial data and provide insights
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations
You will have:
- 2+ years of experience in management accounting
- AAT Technician level qualification (NVQ4) or equivalent
- Started ACCA or CIMA
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
