Job Purpose
  • Support a varied client portfolio, working closely with the senior management team to ensure expectations and deadlines are met
  • Assist with the preparation of year-end accounts
  • Assist with ad-hoc audit work
  • Drafting year-end financial statements and tax computations
  • Liaise with clients, building trusted relationships and proactively handling queries
  • Support junior staff, including reviewing work and supporting their professional development
  • Support Directors and Partners by undertaking ad-hoc work where required
  • Identify new processes and ways to increase efficiency
  • Research and interpret changes to taxation and accounting regulations
  • Champion your own professional development, regularly undertaking training opportunities

Job Requirements
  • AAT / ACCA / ACA qualified, part-qualified or studying
  • Qualified by at least 2 years’ experience within practice also considered
  • A proven track record of managing a client portfolio
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant softwareicluding Microsoft Office
  • A hands-on team player who can also work autonomously
  • An enthusiastic, can-do attitude towards problem-solving
  • Self-motivated and able to manage your own deadlines and workflow
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
