We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate, Audit to join their Audit/Assurance team in Manchester. This role is ideal for those eager to grow in a dynamic, inclusive, and innovative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering client-based assignments with precision and professionalism.
  • Assisting in the planning, execution, and finalization of all areas of audit assignments.
  • Producing work for review by senior staff, highlighting issues, and proposing solutions.
  • Managed day-to-day client communication and acted as a trusted point of contact.
  • Identifying opportunities for business process improvements and preparing Audit Findings Reports.
  • Coaching and mentoring junior team members, providing on-the-job training.
  • Ensuring adherence to the firm’s risk management policies and procedures.

Role Requirements

The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical knowledge, client service skills, and a passion for continuous learning. Key requirements include:

  • Progress towards ACA/ACCA qualification.
  • Significant auditing and accounting experience, ideally under UK GAAP.
  • Exposure to corporate clients is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and ideally Caseware.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
