Bennett & Game are delighted to be assisting a highly experienced, and reputable accountancy practice based in Central Manchester as they recruit for an ambitious Audit Semi-Senior. They are offering a competitive salary of £28,000-35,000, hybrid working, and flexible working arrangements

This 6 partner practice are growing their operation, and are looking for an ambitious accountant, with experience in audit, accounts, and tax. The role is well suited to someone studying ACA or ACCA, or perhaps newly qualified. There is a range of progression opportunities, for an ambitious accountant to further their career into senior roles.

Audit Semi Senior Job Overview
  • Assist in planning and executing audits for a range of clients
  • Conduct audit testing and fieldwork, ensuring compliance with auditing standards
  • Assist in preparation of year-end statutory accounts
  • Support the production of monthly and quarterly management accounts
  • Assist in preparation of corporate tax returns, and VAT returns
  • Liaise with clients to provide support and advice on accounting, tax, and audit matters
Audit Semi Senior Job Requirements
  • Suitable for someone part ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Minimum of 2 years accountancy practice experience
  • Experience working within audit, in practice
  • Experience in accounts and tax
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
  • Able to commute to Central Manchester
  • No requirement for visa sponsorship
