Commercial Accountant - Fully remote

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our finance team, reporting to the Finance Manager. This fully remote role offers opportunities for growth and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Reporting: Lead monthly reporting on team utilisation, client profitability, and ad hoc commercial reports.

  • Management Accounts: Reconcile revenue, balance sheet accounts, and prepare month-end management accounts with commentary.

  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts, monitor financial performance, and analyse variances.

  • Book-keeping: Raise sales invoices, manage credit control, reconcile documentation, and prepare supplier payment runs.

  • Adhoc: Identify opportunities to improve financial systems, drive best practices, and monitor costs for savings.

Skills And Qualifications:

  • AAT and part-qualified (CIMA, ACCA)

  • Strong Excel skills, analytical mind, and experience with accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage)

  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities

  • Experience in a service business preferred
