Stanford Real Estate Partners are working with an established commercial property developer / manager to recruit a Finance Assistant on a 9 month materbity cover contract in their busy finance team in Manchester. The Finance Assistant will support the Management Accountant in providing the full suite of reporting, statutory and cash management services to the company’s listed and unlisted clients. This position will suit a part qualified accountant looking to join a rapidly expanding business within the exciting Commercial Real Estate sector.

You must be able to work well in a team and communicate effectively across all levels of the business. ** This role offers hybrid working, with Mondays & Fridays WFM. Salary offered is circa £30,000 pro-rata. **
Role & Responsibilities
- Supplier invoice coding and posting
- Bank transaction posting
- Bank reconciliations
- Supplier account setup, verification and maintenance
- Preparation of supplier payment runs (twice monthly) for review
- Preparation of CIS returns for review
- Assisting Finance Manager with data management and analysis
- Filing and archiving
- Supporting the team during client audit process
- Implementing process improvements to drive efficiencies within the department
Skills & Experience
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified Accountant or QBE
- Strong MS Excel skills
- SAGE experience is highly desirable
- Experience gained within a busy accounts environment
- Property/Asset Management experience desirable but not essential
