Salary: £26,927- £28,549 per annum (£23,771.16 - £25,203.06 pro-rata) SFCA Support Staff pay spine points 12 - 14

Job Type: Permanent, Term Time Only plus two weeks (0.8828 FTE)

The college is seeking to appoint a detail-orientated Finance Officer who will provide an efficient and effective accounting and administrative service for the College finance function.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for various financial tasks including the processing of purchase and sales ledger documents, liaising with suppliers and customers to resolve queries and processing expenses and payment requests. Furthermore, you will maintain the Staff Development Log, reconcile credit card logs and monitor residential and day trip activities.

Your responsibilities will also include communicating bursary guidance to students and addressing their queries, assisting students in completing their bursary applications and collaborating with the Senior Finance officer to assess applications. You will also assist with reporting to inform decision making as well as calculating and processing bursary support for trips and equipment using Wisepay.
