We are currently partnering with a private equity backed client based in Manchester City Centre.
Interim assignment starting before Christmas - must be fully available to work in-between Christmas & New Year.
3-6 months.
Duties:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statements.
- Presenting reports to senior management to support with business decisions.
- Track, report, execute, and predict financial transactions.
- Provide support and advice for the wider business, including colleagues with a non-financial background.
- Understand guidelines and regulations for financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly consolidation.
- Deep dive reconciliations.
- Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, controls and systems and be pro-active in implementing these changes.
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a private equity backed business as a Financial Accountant or a similar position.
- Ability to provide complex financial advice to non-financial managers.
- Advanced excel skills and strong financial system knowledge, ideally experience using Oracle.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
