Axon Moore are excited to be partnered with a high growth SaaS business with Private Equity backing from a leading investment house. Our client have seen ARR grow by 20% YOY and are expanding both at home and the US led by a superb CFO and investor. As Financial Controller you will be number 2 to the CFO and responsible for ensuring a fit for purpose finance function during period of transformation. You will be a true business partner to operations including sales and product whilst managing a small yet growing team. Based in Manchester, the role offers a degree of hybrid working however you primarily be office based.The Role
  • Ensuring a fit for purpose finance function in line with business growth
  • Supporting the eventual PE exit 
  • Business partnering operations including sales and product
  • Significant KPI reporting around SaaS metrics and ESG most notably
  • Managing and developing a small team across transactional finance
  • Preparing monthly board packs including commentary 
  • Supporting internal and external audit 
  • Leading the budgeting and forecasting processes alongside the CFO
The Person
  • Qualified Accountant
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Comfortable engaging senior leadership and partnering with non-finance
  • Leadership qualities, able to lead and develop a junior team
  • Experience within a PE backed or technology business is highly desirable
  • Ambitious, keen to learn and progress
