- Provide accurate management accounts in line with the agreed timetable
- Oversee all month end processes
- Produce regular reports and statistics as required and provide insight to the business
- Management of financial stock reporting including reconciliation and provisions
- Daily reporting and maintenance of actual performance versus forecast
- Managing and overseeing the cash flow of the company including monitoring and control of all payments through bank accounts
- Business partner non-finance stakeholders and present results to them in a confident and considered way
- Develop and coach the wider team
- Identify patterns in company spending and revenue; create and propose solutions to any problem areas
- Management of foreign currency and relationships with providers
- Promote a performance-based culture to ensure agreed targets are met ensuring performance reviews are conducted
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
- FMCG/Manufacturing experience is desirable not essential
- Solid experience of running a small finance and accounts department in a similar sized organisation
