Platinum are exclusively representing a global leader in industry appoint a Financial Controller to oversee the UK and international accounting for a £30m t/o group manufacturing business. As pioneers within their field they require a highly intelligent and astute qualified accountant to lead the department.
Manchester city centre is the operational hub with manufacturing sites across the globe in 3 continents. They require someone who is familiar with accounting principles within different territories and who can manage complex accounting via multiple companies within group, all consolidated from Manchester.
They have an advanced ERP system in place which provides intelligent data enabling accurate forecasting, modelling and budgeting across various regions.
Operating as the number 1 in finance the founders would love to hire their own "master brain" in finance, someone with an intuitive nature, familiar with analysis, data testing, advanced reporting and ideally had some exposure within an international setting.
As the leader of the finance department you will assume control for a team of 6 immediately, all of whom are well versed and established in the demands of their own roles so gives you a great platform to build upon.
The company has PE investment and have a clear 3 year growth strategy to achieve a 35% increase in EBITDA, all of this is set up and ready to be achieved they just require the last part of the infrastructure (the new FC) in place in order to manage the growth.
With no finance leader above you it will suit an ambitious self-starter who is happy to take on a challenge and push themselves from an already accomplished FC level to global FC and beyond.
