Your new companyAn award-winning, listed business operates a shared service centre in Manchester within a fun fast-paced financial environment. The elite finance division, specifically the Record to Report (R2R) department, efficiently delivers delegated month-end close activities. Your new roleManaging accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections. Preparing financial statements and ensuring their accuracy and compliance with regulations. Conducting internal audits to maintain robust internal controls and mitigate risks. Overseeing month-end and year-end close processes to ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded. Handling tax compliance and ensuring all tax filings are completed accurately and on time. Managing general ledger activities, including reconciliations and journal entries. Implementing and maintaining financial systems to improve efficiency and accuracy. Providing financial analysis and reporting to support business decision-making. Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards to maintain the integrity of financial operations.

What you'll need to succeedAn ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or QBE qualified accountant with strong Excel skills. Excellent stakeholder management abilities and the capability to manage and prioritise workload effectively. A good team player with strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
