Group Accountant

Northwest, England - Greater Manchester

Up to £54,000 subject to experience, plus benefits

T2M Resourcing have been retained on an exclusive basis to recruit a Group Accountant for one of Manchester’s leading companies. This is a great opportunity for a qualified accountant to work within the corporate office of a major international group that has a friendly, vibrant and diverse culture.

Working within the Corporate Reporting Team, supporting the production of the consolidated results of the group, and supporting the wider finance team in regard to audit and corporation tax requirements, the Group Accountant will be required to take ownership of their work within a fast paced environment working to tight reporting deadlines, this role will fully utilise your analytical skills and require a solutions based approach.

Responsibilities of the Group Accountant:

  • Management reporting on a monthly basis
  • Provide the consolidated reports required for each reporting period
  • Support the consolidation of divisional results in line with statutory requirements
  • Review of balance sheets
  • Support with complex accounting queries
  • Support the continuous improvement and the accurate use / management of financial systems
  • Involvement in ad-hoc projects

Requirements to be successful as a Group Accountant:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified with industry experience or similar
  • Audit and corporation tax experience from practice and or industry
  • Strong IFRS to assist with complex accounting
  • Inquisitive and accountable
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to liaise with different levels of stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Excellent IT skills
  • International experience would be advantageous
  • Happy to work on a hybrid basis 3 days a week in the office
