Your new companyA listed global leader in technology with a large finance function in Manchester, this US-listed group has shown regular and consistent growth, alongside achievable near-future plans, and it is a very exciting time to join the business. Your new roleAs a Group Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the Group's statutory accounts and global audit projects are delivered on time. You'll proactively deal with any important project issues as they arise and successfully manage audit projects from start to finish. You will build a solid and cooperative relationship with the auditor and be responsible for planning and leading key project meetings as well as delivering ad-hoc improvement projects within the service centre. What you'll need to succeedYou'll need to be a Practice trained, ACA/ACCA qualified finance professional with excellent technical accounting knowledge. You'll ideally have experience of working with large complex organisations and be proactive in your approach to accounting. You will have excellent organisational skills and be confident in discussing technical topics. Strong attention to detail is essential for this role, and you must be able to manage your time effectively. SOX compliance experience along with US GAAP would be highly preferred but not essential along with Oracle.What you'll get in returnYou'll receive a salary of £50,000 - £60,000 dependent on experience and be offered a hybrid working environment.
