My client are a private equity backed wholesaler based in Manchester. Due to an internal promotion they are recruiting this role on a permanent basis into their finance function, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for the next step in their career and to be involved in an exciting growth phase for the business.
As a Head of Finance you will be responsible for the production of the company's monthly management information, including management accounts with commentary on performance, producing reports and statistics as required providing insight to the business, management of financial stock reporting including reconciliation and provisions, as well as all aspects of cashflow management. You will lead on the submission of statutory accounts and tax filings as well as manage the external auditor relationship, and will be a pivotal business partner to various key stakeholders across the business.
This role will suit a qualified (QBE ok) finance professional who has experience leading a finance function in an SME, previous experience within a manufacturing or product based business is essential in order to hit the ground running with stock control, provisions, inventory etc.
The salary on offer is paying up to £70,000 dependant on experience with an attractive benefits package that includes hybrid working, bonus based on EBITDA performance and generous holidays.
