- Production of monthly management accounts
- Conducting financial analysis to assist in decision-making within the business
- Weekly reporting on sales, stock, variance analysis, and profitability
- Leading the month-end process
- Performing monthly reconciliations of the balance sheet
- Assisting with the year-end audit process
- Managing and developing the finance system
- Preparing quarterly VAT returns
- Identifying and implementing process improvements
- Participating in and reviewing stocktakes
- Overseeing the purchase ledger and credit control functions
- Managing finance staff
- Handling other ad hoc tasks as required
