Management Accountant
Based: Swinton area
Salary: £45k-£60k dependent on experience (weekly temp)
Hours - potentially flexible with 3.30pm Friday finish!
Temp - 8 weeks+, MUST be able to start in January
Our client is a global leading manufacturer with sustainability at the heart of their business. Operating across numerous countries with over 500 staff, this role will sit within their UK business overseeing all UK finances under the Financial Controller. We are looking for a highly competent Manufacturing Management Accountant who can get stuck into the role, self-sufficient, able to use their initiative in a role circa 8 weeks+
Role:
- Prepare and input monthly accruals and prepayments
- Prepare and input weekly payroll journals
- Prepare and input detailed daily stock movement journals
- Prepare and input depreciation journals
- Prepare monthly management accounts to deadlines (P&L, manufacturing a/c and balance sheet)
- Variance analysis
- Weekly bank reconciliations, Intercompany reconciliations, Monthly stock reconciliation
- Monthly control account reconciliations
- Assist with external auditors requests for documents, data and analysis
- Provide ad hoc financial help and advice to colleague’s business queries
Experience:
- CIMA/ACCA qualified OR part-qualified/finalist
- Manufacturing / Stock experience essential (stock accounting experience)
- SAGE 50 experience desirable but not essential
- Strong excel skills - pivots, look ups, SUMIFs
- Able to use initiative and hit the ground running
