Fantastic opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a multi-national business based in Trafford Park. This role will offer a salary of £35,000-£40,000 depending on experience.

Michael Page are working with a highly reputable, industry leading business in their search for a Management Accountant. You will be responsible for the preparation and production of business Management accounts as well as the continued development and growth of the business.
Description
Duties Include:
- preparation and production of monthly management accounts
- Reviewing and implementing improved financial control procedures, systems and processes
- Preparation and posting of journals across all nominal ledger areas.
- Producing regular reports to enable the Management Team and departments to make informed decisions
- Assisting in the annual statutory audit
- Formulating and reporting budgets and forecasts
- Lead on the completion of all year-end procedures in accordance with legislative requirements
- Providing advice and analysis on operational efficiencies, potential projects and new contracts
- Produce statutory financial return's (VAT, PAYE, National statistics Office etc) within agreed timescales
Profile
The candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a similar role - Required
- Part qualified (ACCA/CIMA) - Required
- Good working knowledge of SAGE - Desirable
- Strong communication skills written and verbal - Required
- Ability to drive continuous improvements - Required
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel - Required
- Ability to work effectively with senior management - Required
