Management Accountant
Based Manchester, Irlam
My client is an established and leading business within their respective field, committed to innovation, quality, and excellence. Now looking to recruit a highly skilled and motivated Management Accountant to join their business, reporting directly to an experienced and supportive Finance Director.
This is a fantastic role for someone who is keen to continue to develop their skillset, with the opportunity to take on further responsibility, whilst providing guidance and leadership to junior team members.
Key responsibilities – Management Accountant:
- Prepare and analyse financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for the manufacturing department.
- Monitor and control costs, identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and effective budget management.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance.
- Support the implementation of financial controls and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Provide financial guidance and support to senior management and other stakeholders.
What we need from you?
- Part qualified CIMA / ACCA.
- Proven experience within management accounts, ideally within an SME.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
