Robert Half is currently partnering with leading FMCG manufacturing business based in Manchester City Centre.
An interim assignment for an experienced Management Accountant, you will be reporting to the Financial Controller and leading all day-to-day finance.
6 month+ assignment.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations and departmental P&Ls.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide commentary on financial performance across departments, regions, and projects.
- Business Partner for Head Office cost centres, supporting planning, cost reviews, and recharge policies.
- Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of balance sheet items and external loan balances.
- Manage group recharges and compliance.
- Oversee VAT returns, tax compliance, and liaise with external tax advisors.
- Assist with financial reporting, group adjustments, and dividend procedures.
You will be a fully qualified accountant or Finalist, with experience of a similar MA or FM role, ideally in a manufacturing business. You will have experience of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Strong proficiency in accounting software. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
