A medium sized multiple Partner Accountancy firm based in the Castlefield area of Manchester are recruiting for a Semi Senior Accountant to join their modern & vibrant office on a full-time permanent basis, they offer flexible working with 2 days from home. Whether you have a few years accounts experience and are studying towards AAT or are currently managing a portfolio of clients and working towards ACCA they are offering full study support to accelerate your accounts career and you will get excellent exposure into accounts, personal & corporation tax and bookkeeping.

Semi-Senior Accountant Job Overview

  • Preparing Limited company accounts
  • Corporation tax preparation
  • Excellent cloud based knowledge with Xero, QuickBooks and Sage
  • Key part of the accounts team - This includes bookkeeping, VAT returns, payroll, management accounts, year end accounts and tax returns, as well as ad-hoc advice.
  • Prepare and review VAT returns
  • Looking after (or assisting) with a portfolio of clients and helping them grow their business

Semi-Senior Accountant Job Requirements

  • Recent experience in working in a UK accounting firm
  • Experience in preparing accounts for ltd companies
  • Either ACCA qualified, studying, or working towards AAT
  • Excellent communication skills and confident in speaking with clients
  • Keen to accelerate your career with a structured growth & study plan
  • Based locally to central Manchester
Semi/Senior Accountant Salary & Benefits
  • £25,000 - £40,000 per annum dependant on experience
