Senior Financial Controller - Manchester.

Ballyvesey Holdings is the privately owned parent company of a wide range of trading subsidiaries.

Established in 1970, the group’s main activities are centered around transport and logistics, truck sales and aftersales support, trailer manufacturing and spare parts sales, transport industry services, construction equipment sales, and property rental and development.

As a Senior Financial Controller, you will provide high-quality financial management to senior stakeholders

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and consolidate financial reports across business units, ensuring accuracy and clarity for senior management.
  • Manage the balance sheet to accurately reflect the company's financial position.
  • Oversee bank accounts and cash flow forecasting, collaborating closely with the Managing director.
  • Enhance the internal control environment by identifying and implementing improvements.
  • Lead financial management services for central functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with processes such as audits is successfully delivered.
  • Provide effective leadership and development.
  • Implementation of appropriate financial controls and governance and driving continuous improvement of accounting practices

You bring extensive experience in accounting along with a recognized professional qualification. Your ability to connect effectively with all levels of management and staff showcases your strong interpersonal skills. you also possess a high level of IT proficiency, particularly. Your exceptional organizational skills enable you to juggle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a keen attention to detail. With a flexible mindset, you adapt swiftly to changing situations, and your outstanding communication skills facilitate clear and effective information sharing.

  • Ideally the candidate to be ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified, however candidates with exceptional experience will be considered Effective liaison with all management and staff levels
