What you'll do:
As a Senior General Ledger Accountant, you will be responsible for performing compliant General Ledger processes, supporting several business entities and their senior finance leadership team. Your role will involve analyzing financial data, driving process improvements, identifying training needs within the team, and contributing to initiatives that span multiple regions and business functions. - Full ownership for execution of general ledger processes for defined entities
- Analyzing financial data and providing clear insights to the management enabling informed decision-making
- Business partnering with finance leadership team and other stakeholders by linking business decisions to accounting processes
- Driving process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy and quality in accounting practices while setting and achieving higher service level standards
- Identifying training needs and contributing to development of other team members
- Contributing to initiatives that span multiple regions and business functions, enhancing your skills and broadening your expertise
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Senior General Ledger Accountant position is a qualified or part-qualified accountant with solid knowledge of finance and tax. You should have a good understanding of double entry/bookkeeping, strong attention to detail, excellent follow-through skills, and adherence to deadlines. A LEAN mindset, enthusiasm, proactivity, self-reliance, excellent communication skills, and a willingness towards continuous learning are also essential.
