Treasury Accountant

£50,000 - £55,000

Sellick Partnership has been exclusively engaged to recruit a Treasury Accountant for a market-leading yet growing organisation in the heart of Manchester.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Formation of payment documents and preparation of primary documents by banking requirements and electronic invoices for making payments.
  • Timely execution of the conversion operation.
  • Posting of bank and cash transactions in the accounting system.
  • Promptly notifying payment initiators regarding fund refunds.
  • Reliable and timely compilation of ODDS based on Bank statements and monitoring compliance with the use of the expense item in strict accordance with the Company's budget.
  • Fulfillment of the requirements of the STB on compliance with the requirements for foreign exchange transactions.
  • Promptly initiate a banking investigation in case of non-receipt of funds by the final beneficiary.
  • Filling out questionnaires and other requests for clarification of details in case of questions from intermediate banks.
  • Punctual preparation of financial statements - monthly/quarterly basis for submission to the Bank and Management.
  • Accounting of the Company's bank loans
  • Organisation of document flow and the procedure for documenting and reflecting transactions related to the movement of cash and cash equivalents on accounting accounts.
  • Revisions, directives, guidelines, and regulatory documentation of the Company's accounting and reporting procedures.
  • Plan and correspondence of accounts.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

  • Familiar with the process for conducting documentary audits and inspections to ensure the accurate accounting of assets, liabilities, and business transactions.
  • An understanding of economics, organisation of production, labor and management.
  • Experience with strategies and techniques used to oversee business operations within a competitive market environment
  • Highly motivated for the delivery of accurate and high-quality work
  • Strong communication skills - written and verbal
