An excellent opportunity has arisen with a Market leading Property company based in Luxury offices in Manchester City Centre due to continued growth and expansion. This company are overseeing a number of major projects and projecting to growth further in 2025 making it an excellent time to join the business.

Description

The Assistant Accountant role is initially a temporary assignment and will be fully office based in Manchester City Centre. Reporting to the Financial Controller Key responsibilities will include:

  • Process all Purchase orders and invoices
  • Updating Purchase order requests and spend to date
  • Manage the outlook inbox
  • Process all payment runs in the bank
  • Update cashbook daily and post transactions into Sage
  • Ensure all suppliers are paid according to agreed terms;
  • Treasury management and cash flow forecasting to ensure sufficient funds are available to pay suppliers
  • Deal with any supplier and internal queries
  • Prepare monthly draft Management accounts for review
  • Manage CIS process for sub-contractors
  • Process expenses and company credit card transactions

Profile

In order to apply for the role you should:

  • Be ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified or Qualified by experience
  • Have experience in preparing draft Management Accounts
  • Have experience of overseeing Purchase Ledger and bank recs
  • Ideally have experience in property sector (not essential)
