Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm

Your Role
As a Cash and Banking Assistant, you will join a dedicated team managing financial transactions and maintaining accuracy across our cash and banking processes. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment and progress your career within a supportive team of finance professionals.

What You'll Do
Process credit and debit transactions accurately and efficiently.
Perform regular reconciliations of cash and banking accounts.
Ensure accuracy in financial records by maintaining detailed documentation and performing financial controls.
Work with large data sets, utilising Excel skills (e.g., formulas, V-Lookups, Pivot Tables).
Proactively resolve discrepancies in banking transactions and escalate issues as necessary.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations.
Contribute to the improvement of processes and assist in system implementations where required.

What We Need from You
Experience in a finance environment with a strong understanding of cash and banking processes.
Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing workloads.
Ability to work collaboratively, challenging and influencing colleagues effectively.
Strong communication skills to explain financial information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Confidence working with IT systems, particularly Excel (formulas, V-Lookups, Pivot Tables).
Experience dealing with large data sets and analysing numbers accurately.
Prior experience in account reconciliations and addressing discrepancies is highly advantageous.
