Location: Manchester City Centre
Salary: Up to 45,000 (Dependent on experience)
Hybrid working - Up to three days at home

Responsibilities:
In this exciting role, you will take on a pivotal position in ensuring the smooth and accurate operation of the finance function. You'll be responsible for leading month-end reconciliations, preparing journal entries, and managing the preparation of management accounts. Beyond just numbers, you'll provide insightful financial commentary, collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure data is accurate and aligns with business performance.
You'll be at the heart of the company's purchase ledger operations, working with an outsourced team to oversee payment runs, staff expenses, supplier invoices, and resolving discrepancies. Your attention to detail will be key in keeping financial operations running smoothly.
Additionally, you'll take ownership of preparing weekly cashflow forecasts, providing vital financial updates to the business, ensuring that the company is always well-prepared for its financial needs. You will be instrumental in driving efficiency by streamlining finance systems and work flows, using technology to enhance operational effectiveness and reduce manual processes.
This role will also see you overseeing payroll and weekly driver billing, ensuring everything is processed accurately, and managing payroll-related queries with efficiency. You will have the chance to engage in exciting finance projects, collaborating with key stakeholders to align financial strategies with broader company goals. Whether it's supporting with audits, improving processes, or assisting on ad-hoc tasks, you'll have the chance to make a meaningful impact and help the company grow.
