In fact, this role has become available due to the internal promotion of a Trainee I placed 18 months ago.
He's now AAT Qualified and moving into an Assistant Accountant role - a pathway they're looking to replicate with their next recruit!
It's essential you already have basic finance experience - whether that's purchase or sales ledger or simply data entry - the rest, they'll train on!
Exposure will be in line with what you're studying - they'll leave no stone unturned when it comes to your development and I've had feedback that their training is thorough and indepth!
A lot of roles at this level have a shelf life of 1-2 years; you go in and earn your stripes but then realistically you've reached as far as you can go at that business.
