Admin and data assistant - North Manchester - January 2025 We are specifically working with a secondary school in North Manchester, who are working exclusively with ourselves to provide a member of staff to join the admin team. You will be asked to work monitoring the data of students and their homework, deal with students who persistently do not submit homework. Also, arrange detentions across school as and when required This role will start in January 2025 and will be on an initial temporary basis but, could also become permanent for the right person. This is a brilliant chance to get involved in a school that puts the students first with a warm, happy, and safe environment. The staff and students have a sense of pride in their diverse culture and celebrate this with a culture day, which focuses on the different backgrounds that make their community better. The students take on extra responsibility demonstrating their maturity. This includes school council, being a prefect or a librarian. The school also has a strong community spirit with a community fridge, which connects them with the wider area. The leaders of the school constantly raise their expectations of students which has created an improvement across the school. The student also supports its staff in all aspects with CPD to make sure they are always developing. The position will be ideal for an experienced and knowledgeable office member that has an understanding of the inner workings of a school. This is a role for an admin member that will be overseeing homework submission etc., The position needs a confident individual that is comfortable at dealing with issues that can happen in schools. An understanding of Excel and SIMS would also be helpful.
