NJR Recruitment are currently working with a well established firm who are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join their Financial Planning firm. The administrative assistant will provide assistance with daily tasks in running in a busy and successful financial adviser’s office. The job will involve administrative tasks and assisting with research, administrative and dealing with client queries. The successful candidate will contribute towards helping the business to grow and assure that existing procsses within the office are kept up to date daily.

This firm offers a range of benefits such as 25 days hoildy, pensions contribitution and an annual discretionary bonus scheme.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Daily updates of systems, spreadsheets and record logs
  • Preparing files and documents for client meetings
  • Some PA duties such as booking travel and accommodation etc.

Skills

As there will be element of contacting clients, good telephone manner and Microsoft skills will be required. There is scope to learn more about specific areas you wish to know more about in the business subject to discussion and agreement with your manager/senior adviser.

The ideal candidate will be happy to work as part of a small but growing team and be able to prioritise their workload. Although we are a small team,, there are times of fast paced workload which can change on a day-to-day basis dependant on enquires received from clients.
