ASB Case Officer - Manchester

Are you passionate about making a real difference in your community? We are recruiting for a dynamic ASB Case Officer to work with Manchester's leading Local Authority.

As an ASB Case Officer,you will work closely with key partners, including Greater Manchester Police, housing providers, and council departments, to tackle anti-social behaviour. Your work will focus on prevention, early intervention, and enforcement, providing a trauma-informed approach to support victims and reduce reoffending.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering informal and formal interventions.
  • Taking victim statements and instructing solicitors.
  • Engaging with residents, businesses, and stakeholders to address community safety concerns.
  • Using tools and powers from the ASB Crime and Policing Act 2014 to implement effective solutions.

Requirements:

  • Willingness to consent to and apply for an enhanced DBS Disclosure.
  • Possession of a full UK Driving License.
  • Awareness and understanding of key ASB legislation and its practical application.
  • Confidence and assertiveness to challenge and instruct solicitors.
  • Proficiency in implementing a wide range of interventions to secure compliance.
