Axon Moore are recruiting on behalf of an exciting and growing business based in central Manchester. The company has grown organically and through acquisition and are now looking to add a Finance and Administration Assistant into the team. This position will give you a fantastic insight into the working within a finance tea whilst giving administrative support, with opportunity for you to grow and develop in future. This role is ideal for an individual looking to study / currently studying AAT, who enjoys multitasking, problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced environment.Job Title: Finance and Admin AssistantSalary and benefits: £25,000 - £27,000 + study support / 22 days’ holiday increasing to 25 with service (plus banks) and your birthday off, hybrid working 3 days in the office, pension, free fruit and breakfast,  plus so many other benefits!Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the finance inbox, appointing the correct queries to the correct member of the finance team.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to finance operations, including filing, document management, and data entry.
  • Review and manage business stationery orders to ensure the office is adequately stocked.
  • Provide support to other team members, offering cover as required.
  • Assist with various administrative tasks across the finance department, ensuring smooth operations.
Person specification:
  • Proven experience in a finance or administrative role (ideally within an office environment) – Desirable
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities efficiently.
  • An individual looking to study AAT or similar finance qualification – Desirable
