Summary
My client, one of the North Wests independent commercial dealers is looking for a Sales Administrator to join their busy sales team. Initially reporting to the Senior Sales Administrator, they are looking for someone who is self-motivated and hardworking and willing to hit the ground running in supporting the sales function. This role has the opportunity for progression to Senior Sales Administrator for the right candidate.
Key Duties
- Checking vehicles arriving in and ensuring correct paperwork is included, chasing any missing paperwork
- Dealing with damaged vehicles- completing paperwork, contacting body shops, liaising with insurers and following the damaged vehicle claim procedure
- Following all sales administration procedures
- Making sure everything is logged on stock cards
- Communicating with the wider sales team on a regular basis
- Vehicle Taxing
- Invoicing
- Producing reports for the sales team as and when required
Experience required
- Well organised with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent administrative skills
- Possess excellent accuracy and numeracy skills
- Good telephone manner
- Ability to demonstrate a pro-active and autonomous approach
- Ability to take initiative and work under pressure
- Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office)
- Process driven
- Kerridge experience - desirable but not essential
- Automotive/Transport industry experience - desirable but not essential
