To support our growing school, we are seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Administrator to join our successful school administration team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day administrative operations, including attendance, student records, and correspondence.
- Undertaking clerical duties related to the post such as production of letters, reports and other documents as requested using relevant ICT packages such as spreadsheets, databases, Word, internet and SIMS.
- Serve as the first point of contact for parents, staff, and visitors, providing excellent customer service.
- Coordinate school events, meetings, and schedules.
- Maintain financial records, process invoices, and handle petty cash.
- Assist with HR tasks, including staff onboarding, record-keeping, and compliance.
- Support the Senior Leadership Team with administrative tasks and projects.
- Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Maths & English GCSE Grades 4-9 (A-C) or equivalent.
- Proven administration experience in a school administrative role or similar environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and school management software (SIMS)
- Excellent time keeping and organisational skills
- Good interpersonal skills and resilience
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with safeguarding and confidentiality protocols in an educational setting.
Experience:
- SIMS: 1 year (desirable)
- Working within a school office: 1 year (desirable)
- Administration experience: 3 years (essential)
