H&S Assistant Manager
Location: Manchester
Salary: £45,000 + Car + Benefits

We are partnering with a leading Facilities Management organisation to recruit an Assistant H&S Manager. This exciting role offers the chance to be a key part of a the Operations team and Account manager to meet or exceed Client’s contractual requirements and KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the facilities team with H&S matters raised via Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive supplier works within the Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) system
• Manage the delivery of building risk assessments (general, fire, water, air) via a specialist H&S service provider.
• Manage Contractor QHSE prequalification of existing and new suppliers, and support onboarding to ensure they are instructed on Client’s QHSEW values and standards.
• Ensure appropriate safe systems of work in place with supply chain to manage high-risk activities (incl. Permit-to-Work, RAMS) and support operations team in monitoring the effectiveness of these.

What We’re Looking For

• NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent
• Experience of Facilities Management and contractor H&S management
• Experience assessing RAMS and Permits-to-work
• Detailed knowledge of UK H&S regulation
• ISO 9001/ 14001/ 45001 experience
