The Deputy Nurse Manager role involves:
- Leading and supporting the nursing and care team to ensure high-quality care.
- Assisting the Home Manager in maintaining compliance with CQC standards.
- Overseeing the delivery of person-centred care for residents with dementia and nursing needs.
- Managing staff schedules and ensuring adequate staffing levels.
- Participating in shared on-call responsibilities.
- Implementing care plans and ensuring they are followed.
- Providing training and mentorship to nursing staff.
