The Opportunity
This newly created role of Email Marketing Lead will report into the Head of Marketing. Worked predominately across a particular business unit, this role will take the lead and have full ownership of the Email Marketing, Automation and CRM operations within the business. With a focus on data management, segmentation, workflow creation and execution, this Email Marketing Lead opportunity will suit someone who prides themselves on delivering effective strategies within this particular channel.
Responsibilities & Objectives
- Design, schedule and automate email campaigns
- Plan and create email content, including subject lines, body text, and CTAs to maximise engagement.
- Manage email marketing strategies for subscription based and organic audiences.
- Schedule and send emails based on audience segments and marketing goals that are optimised for web and mobile.
- Report and analyse email performance metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversions
- Conduct A/B testing to improve engagement rate.
- Build automated email sequences tailored to different customer journeys
- Implement, test and manage trigger-based workflows that send emails based on user actions
- Integrate automations with CRM data
- Implement a tagging system to segment contacts
- Regularly cleaning and managing lists
Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years email campaign experience with proven results.
- Proven experience of email marketing using CRM to manage contact lists and deliver campaigns.
- Proficiency with email marketing platforms and marketing automation tools.
- Strong skills to create compelling email content and to target the correct audience for particular campaigns.
- Familiarity with A/B testing
- Excellent understanding of email marketing metrics and KPIs.
- Analytical mindset and the ability to interpret data to optimise campaigns.
