As the Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving both new business development and maximising current partnerships. You will create and execute strategies that deliver significant revenue growth, foster strong relationships with key accounts, and ensure their product offerings are aligned with market demand.

Key Responsibilities as the Key Account Manager:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by targeting potential partners and expanding into new territories.
  • Work to build a strong pipeline of new clients and accounts to drive revenue growth.
  • Focus on driving growth and profitability from existing wholesale accounts.
  • Develop and implement strategies to deepen relationships, expand product offerings, and increase sales.
  • Develop and implement sales initiatives at the start of each season, ensuring alignment with broader company goals and objectives.
  • Act as a key player in driving sales and ensuring consistent performance.
  • Continuously refine strategies to stay aligned with market trends and customer needs.
  • Create and deliver a comprehensive key account roadmap that aligns with the overall company strategy and yearly growth plans. This will include sales targets, marketing initiatives, and product launches.
  • Work closely with internal teams to monitor and enhance brand and category performance across accounts. Ensure product offerings align with customer needs and drive sales.
  • Have a deep understanding of key commercial factors including sell-thru rates, stock position, margin, lead-times, freight, and delivery targets.
  • Oversee the management of all current accounts, ensuring timely delivery, optimal stock levels, and consistent communication.
  • Provide insight into the product range for your partners, identifying best-sellers and opportunities for growth while protecting and enhancing the brand identity at all times.
  • Regularly analyse trends, competitor performance, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement, new product development, and business expansion.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong experience in both business development and key account management across high street & supermarkets, with a focus on driving sales and maximising existing partnerships.

  • Ability to set clear business plans and sales initiatives, and adapt strategies based on market needs and customer demands.

  • Strong understanding of product performance metrics (sell-thru, stock position, margin, etc.) and the ability to manage product ranges that drive revenue and protect brand integrity.

  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strategic relationships with key partners, buyers, and internal teams.

  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and drive product success.

  • A creative and adaptable mindset to identify new product opportunities, optimise existing lines, and ensure the brand remains competitive in the market.
