With a management team who are collaborative, support, and all working towards continuous improvement, this is going to suit any hands-on people manager with Warehouse Ops experience and gives plenty of opportunity for growth.

The shift runs from 06:00 - 14:00 and involves the management and development of circa 15 staff on shift, with the support of a Supervisor.

What will I be doing?

A brief overview of the day to day:

  • Develop the 'rhythm and routine' of the operation, striving for sold day by day operational performance with suitable controls and processes implemented,
  • Management and development of staff, empowering the team to lead and contribute to the team's wider success,
  • Ensure all staff company with all policies and procedures, government regulations and health & safety rules,
  • Continuously assess your staff against an identified performance criteria, address issues of both performance and conduct and follow the companies HR policies,
  • Manage KPI's to meet contractual terms and internal expectations,
  • Actively work to improve the overall performance, efficiency and productivity of the team,

What do you need?

  • An established background in warehouse shift management, ideally form a Retail or 3PL background.
  • Ability to create an excellent working environment and implement long -term improvements.
  • Proactivity to strive for continuous high performance.
