Our client, a prestigious leading design consultancy based in Central London, is seeking a dynamic and commercially focussed Civil or Structural Engineer to take on the role of Director of Structures. Director of Structures - The Role:

As the Director of Structures, you will play a pivotal role in designing and executing a strategic plan to grow the business presence across the Midlands and North. This highly strategic yet hands-on role offers not just an attractive salary but also bonus potential and share options, aligning your success with the company’s long-term growth.

Director of Structures - Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a business strategy to expand the consultancy’s reach in the North of the UK

- Collaborate with the CEO and other senior stakeholders to identify and capitalise on new business opportunities

- Lead and manage a team of engineers and project managers to deliver high-quality structural design solutions

- Build strong relationships with clients and partners, ensuring the highest levels of satisfaction and business development

- Oversee project execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards

- Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations to ensure the consultancy remains at the forefront of design excellence

Director of Structures - You:

- Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer with a strong commercial acumen

- Proven track record in a senior leadership role within a design consultancy or similar environment

- Extensive experience in structural engineering, with the ability to manage and deliver complex projects

- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels

- Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Based in the Midlands or North of the UK
