Are you an Engineering Design Manager looking to lead a design department, drive technical innovation and shape the future of a market-leading power generation / renewable energy specialist?

As the Engineering Design Manager, you will head up a busy drawing office, working alongside cross functional teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to budget, whilst remaining hands on.

You'll have the freedom to shape technical direction and with a flair for design, will have your say on the future of this exciting business, as they look towards a bright and profitable future. This role would suit an Engineering Design Manager with a strong mechanical background, proven leadership experience, and a passion for driving innovation in power generation technologies or similar.

DUTIES
* Managing a busy drawing office, from CAD Technicians to Senior Design Engineers
* Working alongside cross functional teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently
* Hands on design, driving innovation within power generation and other relatable fields
* Office based, with some flexibility for hybrid working

PERSON
* Mechanical design background, with the motivation to drive innovation
* Previously managed a team, whilst leading from the front
* Power generation industry experience or similar
