Field Service Engineer – Manchester

Location: Manchester
Salary: £30,000 + overtime, on-call service and overnight call-out payments
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm (1 hour lunch)

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Field Service Engineer to join their growing team. This is an opportunity to work for a company that provides exceptional service, ensuring customers remain compliant with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on healthcare equipment
  • LOLER Testing on lifting equipment
  • Service baths, hoists, slings, beds, pressure mattresses, and wheelchairs
  • Carry out contract servicing agreements in line with procedures
  • Maintain a professional and courteous service to customers
  • Work towards ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar field service or maintenance role
  • Experience with fault-finding, diagnosis, and repairs of mechanical/electrical equipment
  • Organised and methodical approach to work
  • Mechanical engineering training
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to pass manual handling and DBS checks
