Responsibilities
  • You will install, repair, maintain, and service Pharmaceutical Water Treatment systems in laboratories and industrial sites across Manchester. There is a huge amount of task diversity in this role, with constant opportunities to progress your learning and understandings as an engineer. This will be based around Manchester and will be working alongside 20+ engineers who will support your development.
  • You will work closely with a range of products from Reverse Osmosis, Elgar Systems and Water filtration systems.
  • Carry out installations, repairs, maintenance and servicing, showing strong electromechanical skills.
  • Provide on-site corrective/preventive maintenance for customer's water treatment equipment, including equipment swap outs, emergency response.
  • Undergo full training in the portfolio of products with ongoing development opportunities.
  • Carry out commissioning work on standard equipment and provide after-sales technical and commercial support.
  • Complete relevant administration such as risk assessments and work reports.
What are we looking for?
  • Have previous experience as a Service Engineer or in a field based technical support role.
  • Ideally have an NVQ or higher in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering or similar (or working towards this).
  • Ideally have experience within the water treatment industry but this is not essential.
  • Hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Be passionate about providing a first-class service to our customers.
  • Have good organisational skills, attention to detail, be able to prioritize workload, and multitask.
Package:
  • Salary dependent on experience
  • 37.5-hour week - 30-minute lunch
  • Overtime 1.5x standard from Monday to Saturday, Sunday 2x anything over 40-hour week paid to door
