East Manchester area, commutable from Oldham, Droylsden, Hyde, Manchester, Ashton-under-Lyne, Stockport, Rochdale

37 hours/week 8AM-4PM Friday

Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer, looking to work for a major player in the low volume product Manufacturing industry, based in their superb head office, with over 400 staff?

This role will suit an ambitious candidate, who wants to work on a range of complex design projects and be trained to progress their career.

You will be responsible for working on product designs collaborating closely both with customers and internal teams. The role will require a great deal of problem solving and creative thinking, both regards to functionality and aesthetics.

The Role

1. Full time permanent position with a large manufacturer
2. Working on product designs using Solidworks
3. Design is focused on both functionality and aesthetical design
4. Lots of customer and internal liaison required

The Person

1. Academic/working background in mechanical engineering
2. Experience in a product design based position
3. Experience of using Solidworks
