Senior Mechanical Design Engineer- Data Centres

Due to their ongoing development and success, they are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing Data Centres team in Manchester.

The Role & Key Responsibilities

• The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will work on major Data Centres around the world, during RIBA stages 2-4
• The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will report to and work closely with the Mechanical Associate Directors, as well as managing their own workload independently
• The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will be able to mentor less-experienced, junior team members
• The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will work on the project whilst adhering to strict deadlines and budgets

Skills and Experience

• Essential
  • Bachelor’s degree (BEng) or higher (MEng) in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer in various large-scale or complex projects and mentoring junior team members
  • Excellent communication skills
• Desirable
  • The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will have, or be working towards, Chartership (through CIBSE or the IMechE), though not essential
