Our client, a leading provider in the water sector, is currently seeking a Structural Engineer to join their team in Manchester. This is a hybrid contract position focused on projects within Water Treatment Works and Sewage Treatment Works in the UU region.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertaking structural design and analysis for water treatment projects
  • Providing technical expertise at Engineer, Senior, or Principal level
  • Utilising software tools such as Staadpro and Tekla Tedds for design and analysis
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations
  • Participating in site visits to ensure design integrity and functionality
  • Preparing detailed reports and documentation for project stakeholders


Job Requirements:

  • Significant experience in structural engineering, particularly within the water sector
  • Proficiency in structural design software such as Staadpro and Tekla Tedds
  • Solid understanding of structural engineering principles and practices
