Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Structured Cabling Installations Engineer located in the Manchester Area predominantly but working all over the United Kingdom. The engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to structured cabling installations, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to project requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Experience in structured cabling installations and testing.
  • Knowledge of Category 6, 6A and above.
  • Fibre Optics splicing and Testing (preferred, not essential).
  • Proficiency in containment installations
  • Cabinet/Rack installations
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and manuals
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Relevant experience in the construction or engineering industry

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Certifications in relevant fields such as cabling installation or networking
  • Full UK Drivers Licence
  • ECS/CSCS Card
  • Own Drills & Hand Tools
