Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Structured Cabling Installations Engineer located in the Manchester Area predominantly but working all over the United Kingdom. The engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to structured cabling installations, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to project requirements.
Responsibilities
- Experience in structured cabling installations and testing.
- Knowledge of Category 6, 6A and above.
- Fibre Optics splicing and Testing (preferred, not essential).
- Proficiency in containment installations
- Cabinet/Rack installations
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and manuals
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Relevant experience in the construction or engineering industry
Qualifications/Requirements
- Certifications in relevant fields such as cabling installation or networking
- Full UK Drivers Licence
- ECS/CSCS Card
- Own Drills & Hand Tools
